The first step on a long, long road…In 2006, the first station was reached: ECHOES OF ETERNITY joined forces with NUCLEAR BLAST. Now, it’s the time to explore the bright future of this band.
Next step: Recording an album. The intention of ECHOES OF ETERNITY is to combine the power and aggression of extreme metal, the musicianship of progressive metal and the beautiful dynamics of the female voice. The music is a mixture of pure technique and catchy Metal melodies. After some time of settling in, the really complex structures become simple and logical. That’s were Francine’s voice comes into play. Her angelic singing is more than just a layer on the music – her voice becomes one with the songs. EDENBRIDGE - My Earth Dream
The mixing sessions for the CD were completed at Thin Ice Studios in England with Karl Groom (THRESHOLD). The mastering is currently taking place at the Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland with Mika Jussila.
The orchestra recordings for the new EDENBRIDGE CD took place in Prague in October. EDENBRIDGE was reportedly supported by the 65-piece Czech Film Orchestra (consisting of musicians from the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Czech State Opera Orchestra). The orchestra, which was previously involved with recordings for renowned Hollywood productions, is heard on nine out of ten songs plus the intro. Lanvall's (guitar, keyboards) orchestral arrangements were recently put into the final score.

And we'll shoot a video for a very heavy midtempo anthem by the name of 'Ministry Of Saints'. And there'll be a bonus track called 'Aren't You A Little Pervert Too?' which is quite nasty."

Edgend - A New Identity

EDGE OF FOREVER - Another Paradise
With their previous two releases “Feeding The Fire” (2004) and “Let The Demon Rock N Roll” (2005) the Italian melodic rockers put their focus promotion wise on the lead vocals of AXE singer Bob Harris, but with their third effort Bob Harris just handles the backing vocals. Keyboarder Alessandro Del Vecchio stepped in as new lead singer and he does a truly superb job. It’s extremely helpful that “Another Paradise” contains the strongest songs in the history of EOF so far, which are reminding me of the pompy melodic rock stuff from AXE, GUILD OF AGES and the mighty C.I.T.A. which massive keyboards all over the place. No doubt about it, “Another Paradise” is a clear winner for melodic rock fans.
