Perfect Insanity
The tenth JADED HEART studio album entitled “Perfect Insanity” on October 16th 2009.
Formed in 1990 by singer and songwriter Michael Bormann (ex Bonfire) and his brother Dirk Bormann (guitar) the line-up was completed the following year when Michael Müller (bass, ex The Sygnet) and former Mad Max drummer Axel Kruse joined the band.
The band’s breakthrough album “Slaves And Masters” was their second and was released in 1997. This record stayed in the Japanese Top Ten import charts for four months and in their home country Germany the band was featured on several national TV shows on RTL, PRO 7 and many more. After that Jaded Heart went out on a big tour with Axxis and Heaven’s Gate that staged more than 40 concerts throughout Europe .
After the release of “Trust”, Jaded Heart’s fifth album in 2003, the band and frontman Michael Bormann decided to part ways and the new Swedish frontman Johan Fahlberg (ex Scudiero) joined giving the following album “Helluva Time” in 2005 a fresher approach.
The band showed that they could live up on their legs after Bormann’s departure and after the release they toured as support for German metal heads Helloween in the south of Europe ( Italy , Spain , France ) and did a successful headlining tour all over Germany , Switzerland and Belgium . Peter Ostros, a long time friend of the guys, joined Jaded Heart as a steady member on guitar, bringing new influences to the band’s music.
Following 2007’s release of “Sinister Mind”, Jaded Heart headed back to the studio in 2009 for the new album christened “Perfect Insanity”. “The concept has to do with all the things happening in this world right now, a "Perfect Insanity”, explains drummer Axel Kruse. “Everyone is just thinking ´bout himself, and not about how to change all this shit that´s going on right now (wars/economic crisis etc.)”. Productionwise, the winning team of “Sinister Mind” was not changed with Michael Voss (Mad Max, Voices Of Rock) at the production helm, Chris Lausmann mixing / editing and Dennis Ward mastering. “Musically the style we´re gonna do right now is a so called mix of traditional Hard Rock and Melodic Metal, played with faith and heart!! Great production and sound!!”, says Axel.
“Perfect Insanity” tracklisting includes: Intro; Love is a Killer; Fly Away; Blood Stained Lies; Tonight; Freedom Call; One Life One Death; Rising; Hell Just Arrived; Psycho Kiss; Come to the Feast; Exterminated.
“The feeling inside the band is very good, we think it will be a great album and brings us the next step forward. Sinister Mind
The new album is the second that was recorded after singer Michael Bormann’s departure from the line-up. Swedish ex SCUDIERO shouter Johan Fahlberg proved to be a more than perfect replacement and his live performances have conquered many new fans during the recent JADED HEART European tours. The new album is also going to present a new face, the guitarist Peter Ostros, who has contributed strongly to the songwriting of this kick-ass new release.

Jaggedy Ann are an awesome all girl rock band from Las Vegas. Intergalactic Records came across them in 2004, in the first year of the World Battle of the Bands. They competed in LA at WBOB shows there, and soon started winning and went onto to be the USA Winners, competing in Auckland, NZ in the first WBOB World Final. They were signed to Intergalatic Records not too long after that in 2005.
Jaggedy Ann will be touring through New Zealand again in August to promote their debut album ‘Boiling Point’ which was recorded last year with Phil Rudd (Drummer from AC/DC). The album was recorded in New Zealand and was mixed by legendary UK producer Steve James in Byron Bay, Australia. Mastering at Sterling Studios New York has completed the production process and the forthcoming Asia Pacific Album Release Tour in June and July 2007 will see the album released in several countries within this region.

Steevi Jaimz was a member of TIGERTAILZ on their 1st album “Young And Crazy” and wrote their top-40 single “Livin' Without You”.
“On My Private Hell” he has worked with Chris Laney that released a strong solo album called “Pure” a few weeks back and Anders Ringman that has worked with Crash Diet, Europe etc. This is a damn fine sleaze/glam hardrock album with hook laden songs and strong melodies. The choruses are huge with very AORish elements and Def Leppard-like harmonies.
So if you have albums with Chris Laney, Crash Diet, Carmen Gray, Johnny Lima and Crazy Lixx then you can’t avoid this one. The start of the album is brilliant with “Amazing”, “Don’t Say It’s Over” and “Something Good Something Bad” are pure melodic rock bliss and the remaining tunes are of the same calibre – killer stuff of the highest order!

Requiem
ROB ZOMBIE/ex-MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5 will release his fourth solo album, "Requiem", on June 3 via 60 Cycle Hum.
By definition requiem is prayer for the salvation of the soul(s) of the departed, requiem is also the title of various musical compositions used in such liturgical services. In the case of John 5, requiem is a mind-blowing, sinister guitar instrumental with song titles named after torture devices. "I find the macabre fascinating, it's all over history. In researching the torture devices I heard music to describe each one," explains John 5.
John 5 performs all instruments with the exception of the time-keeping by Zombie bandmate Tommy Clufetos (drums). The album was recorded in the middle of night that lent a cool vibe and only time John 5 had studio times. Most of the songs are 12-13 minutes long so John 5 decided to put in markers to divide them up so when songs change from track to track it seems to meld in to each other.

The writing was on the wall for the group went their seperate ways. A live album was released in early 2000, and the band began to do a few live shows in America and Japan with Tim Mosher replacing Baker. A mini album of new and old songs was released in 2003 and most recently they released "Put It On Ten..." a collection of early demos and covers that capture the band in it's true raw element, plus a live DVD recorded in 1989.
