Land of Tales is a brand new band masterminded by two guys, Kristian (vocals and guitar) and Palle (keyboards), who started doing music together since the tender age of six and seven. They have been playing together for fifteen years in a band called Naiskala. However all the time, there was a constant urge to make more adult oriented rock music, sung in English.
Kristian finally started writing songs in this new direction during November 2006, meanwhile Petri Lahtinen and Mika Mäkiranta wrote the lyrics for the tales. They uploaded the songs on their Myspace page (www.myspace.com/landoftales), getting a fabulous response from all over the world. International Fan Clubs have been already founded in Germany and overseas. Land of Tales therefore started shopping their music around, until they caught the interest of Frontiers Records who signed them in the fall of 2007.

Swedish guitarist and composer Erik Jayce Landberg was born in the winter of 1977. Due to his father's professional commitments, he
saw himself growing up in the countryside, between Stockholm and Switzerland. Being exposed to a constant change of cultures
Jayce developed a strong interest in art and poetry, but had originally no interest in playing music.
However, after his mother's repeated pressure to play an instrument like the piano or the violin, he saw himself confronted with a
difficult choice. At age 14, he finally gave in and decided to pick up the guitar and soon after immersed himself in composition and
writing from the very beginning. The piano was Jayce's next choice, on which he later composed pieces like "Winter" and "Marilyn".
Being exposed to rock and classical music simultaneously he soon absorbed the essence of the two genres and originally
endeavoured to combine them like his predecessors Malmsteen and Uli Jon Roth. At 18 Jayce left his Swiss household to
permanently relocate to Stockholm were he joined several bands until he finally met with singer Goran Edman (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen,
John Norum, Vindictiv). The two of them set up to record two songs, "Lost Without You" co-written with Goran and the epic ballad
"Marilyn" which Jayce originally wrote as a classical music piece. The recording was released as a single in Europe and attracted
soon the attention of record companies abroad. As a result, Jayce signed a deal with Escape Music to record his debut album "Break
The Spell" (ESM178) also featuring Goran on vocals. “Break the Spell” was a great way to introduce Jayce, and this second release
sees him hone his sound to perfection and this array of songs will appeal to fans of guitar orientated rock / metal in the vein of Yngwie
Malmsteen.
The new release “Good Sleepless Night” sees Jayce effortlessly turning out fantastic tunes and beautiful guitar passages backed up
with a great rhythm section and, of course, Goran Edman and Mark Boals (track 8 - Invasion) handling vocals. The inclusion of John
Leven (Europe) on bass is the icing on the cake.

Chris Laney is a guitarist and singer who's been a member in bands like Randy Piper's Animal, Zan Clan and many more. Chris Laney is also known as a brilliant songwriter and producer. He is working as a producer at legendary Polar Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
Chris Laneys' first solo-album "Pure" was released in March 2009, it was highly welcomed and gave him a firm and increasing fan-base. This new album "Only Come Out At Night" is a natural continuation of the path set with the first album. Just as on the first solo-album, Chris Laney invited some of his friends to work with him on Only Come Out At Night. LANFEAR were founded in 1993. They recorded a selftitled demo and released their debut "Towers" by themselves. Urwerk Records re-released the album with a different cover artwork in 1997. The more progressive second work "Zero Poems" saw the light of day in 1999 and was released by Famous Kitchen. The public interest about LANFEAR grew rapidly and today many people consider "Zero Poems" as a Prog Metal Classic. The third and more powerful LANFEAR album "The Art Effect" was recorded in Dreamscape studios, Munich, and was released in Europe by Massacre Records (March 2003).
Studio recordings for the fourth album "Another Golden Rage" took place in October/November 2004 in Dreamscape studios. The release date for Europe (through Massacre Records) was in 2005, and was released in Nov 2006 by Locomotive Records in USA.
In early 2006 the band went through a change in line-up, as LANFEAR parted ways with Tobias and found a new vocalist in Nuno Miguel de Barros Fernandes (known from the power/prog metal band Anguish). Nuno Fernandes convinces with his supremely variable voice and the necessary grasp for haunting melodies.

For the very first time on CD the debut-album of Glam/Street Hard Rockers from Italy LAROXX originally out, only on cassette, in 1992.
The album was originally recorded for a release in USA and Japan thru a major-label, and a promotional tour in the States (prior of the announced release) was set up, with gigs played at famous “Troubador”, “Foundation Forum” and “F.M. Station” in Los Angeles. Unfortunately things went bad, as the label supposed to release the album suddenly dropped the offer, so the band found itself with a great (and expensive!) album in its hands without a label ready to release it!
The album has a pure Party-Glam-Street Rock flavour, close to the sound of US bands like Poison, Pretty Boy Floyd and early Motley Crue.

Secret Weapon
One can say that Howard Leese truly is a veteran when it comes to rock n' roll, having begun his music career at the early age of 9 and getting signed to the first record deal at 15 with his first band “The Zoo”. They played some of the largest concert venues in LA and opened for major bands of the day, such as Spirit, Canned Heat, and Butterfield Blues Band.
Leese went on to study music theory and classical music at Los Angeles City College, opting to leave for real-time experience in the studio when an opportunity presented itself for him to have full use of a recording studio in Vancouver. It was there that the fateful meeting with the Wilson sisters took place not long after when local band "Heart" came in to record a demo in 1974 which Leese produced.
Howard finally joined Heart in 1975 and stayed with the band for 22 years, incorporating a variety of instruments on their albums, such as electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin and keyboards. He also co-produced some of their 13 albums. Heart had 20 top 40 singles, 3 International n. 1 singles, a n. 1 album ("Heart") in 85', has received 4 Grammy nominations and has sold 40 million records worldwide.
Leese grew up listening to such greats as Dick Dale (the first live experience that he had), Keith Richards, Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac, Jeff Beck, Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Paul Kossoff of Free, which inspired him to put together a group in Seattle called "The Brigade", playing some old Free classics.
In 1997 the legendary Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Co, The Firm with Jimmy Page, Queen) had moved from England to Vancouver and was looking for a U.S. back-up band. Intrigued by how well Leese could play Kossoff's particular style and licks, he asked him to join his band. In 1998 Howard Leese joined The Paul Rodgers Band and more recently became touring member in the reformed Bad Company line-up.
Howard Leese spent his career putting others in the spotlight and making sure they stay there, often being called Heart’s “secret weapon.” His first solo record, aptly entitled “Secret Weapon” is an effort that’s sure to thrust him into the spotlight he so patiently has watched dance around in front of him for decades. Howard Leese offered up legends like Joe Lynn Turner (former Rainbow and Deep Purple singer), Paul Rodgers, Keith Emerson or Jimi Jamison (ex Survivor), for the space, or better yet, the lesser known talents of Deanna Johnston or Andrew Black. Howard Leese takes great pride in having his work heard from the dark depths that linger behind the spotlight. The only difference now is that the secret is out, so he might simply be a weapon – one hell of a weapon!

Dumblondes
Lessdress are every bit as good as the greats of the scene. When I'm cranking the album I think of the glory days of Skid Row, Slash Puppet, Wildside, Dirty Rhythm, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Shotgun Messiah, Nasty Idols, Slam St. Joan, Barely Legal, Roxx Gang, Bang Gang, Sweet Cheater, Dirty Penny, Swedish Erotica, Smash L.A., Spoyld, Southgang and the Canadian band Jester. I have absolutely no doubt that if Lessdress were in the States back in the Hard Rock boom time, they would have been signed to a major label. They would have blown most of the Sleaze/Glam bands on the strip out of the water.
With every spin, Dumblondes is quickly becoming one of my favorite hard rock albums ever!! Like Firehouse's self first two albums, like Skid Row's first two albums, Dumblondes is very, very hard to fault. Basically if you love booming backing vocals, blistering guitars, an L.A. attitude, masterful song writing, catchy rockin' radio friendly chorus' and stellar production, this album will go down as one of your favorites too.

Prior to the recording of 1992's "Born Into
Darkness" LETTER X parted company with
vocalist Martin Obermeier, guitarist Joachim
Gassman and drummer Frank Kraus, the latter
to end up as drummer for DEMON DRIVE.
New recruits were found in Michael Bormann
(later in JADED HEART) on vocals, Michael
Faisst on guitar and drummer Marco Leva.
"Born Into Darkness" was produced by ELOY
mainman Frank Bornemann. Third album, the
Japanese only released "Reflections" would not
appear until 1996, by which time LETTER X had
found a new singer as Bormann had long since
formed JADED HEART.

Blind Fire
Leverage is a Top Level Melodic Metal band which came out of nowhere in 2006, causing a stir with the release of their debut album “Tides”. Their blend of modern metal sound and old school melody-based songwriting earned rave reviews from the media and created a fanbase both in Finland and throughout the rock community in many countries.
One highlight of the ratings was melodicrock.com naming ‘Tides’ as the best Metal/Prog album of 2006, with 2 songs at the top of their heavy rock song listing. The band’s frontman Pekka Heino (also singer for Brother Firetribe) was also named the vocalist of the year!
“The warm welcome for ‘Tides’ was a pleasant surprise for us” says the band’s guitar player and main composer Tuomas Heikkinen. “We got good radio airplay in Finland , even climbed to the charts, all before our very first gig with our own material! Since then, we’ve played throughout Finland at clubs and festivals. Our music has been described as melodic metal or melodic heavy rock, which is fine by us”. Rock and Metal lovers will easily recognize influences from Rainbow, Magnum, Stratovarius and Masterplan.
“Blind Fire” will be released in Europe (minus Finland ) on Frontiers Records on January 25th 2007. The first reactions to the material are enthusiastic and there are already plans for the band to play live outside their homeland.

Lillian Axe formed in New Orleans and were one of the most underrated metal acts of the late 80s and early 90s. "Love and War" is their second album. "Love + War" contained ten classic compositions, stretching from hard and heavy tracks to mellow ballads. Produced by Tony Platt (who previously worked with AC/DC) the album delivered a strong dose of skillfully written material. Even though there was an official video for the song "Show a Little Love" played on MTV, the album never took off.
This remastered reissue is in a numbered digipack edition of 2000.

Lillian Axe was a massively underrated melodic metal band from New Orleans. Their self-titled debut LP was released in 1988. Containing ten electrifying compositions, the album showcased a variety of emotions, gathered both in heavy rocking tracks as well as beautiful ballads. Producer Robbin Crosby (ex-guitarist of Ratt) managed to capture the key elements of Lillian Axe's style, which blended into one powerful rock experience. One of the highlights of this record was the opening track "Dream of a Lifetime", released as the band's first single.

Dark Hours
Starting with their debut in 1995, LION'S SHARE went on to land a worldwide record contract with Century Media and release "Two", which was hailed as a melodic metal masterpiece. The CD was promoted by a European tour with metal legends SAXON and a follow-up trek with ICED EARTH and NEVERMORE and more dates with SAXON. In 1998 a tour with U.D.O. and additional club gigs in Sweden took place. With the 1999 album "Fall From Grace", LION'S SHARE streamlined its sound towards a tighter, heavier sound without losing any of its melodic sensibility. An appearance at the 1999 Sweden Rock Festival with bands like SCORPIONS, DEEP PURPLE and MANOWAR was followed by a Scandinavian tour in 2000 with DIO, MANOWAR and MOT�RHEAD. The "Entrance" album came out in 2001 on Massacre Records and was supported by a number of headlining shows and yet another appearance at the Sweden Rock Festival. The band returned with 2007's intense "Emotional Coma". 2008's "The Magic Circle Festival" DVD out of the MANOWAR camp features 2 live tracks by LION'S SHARE.
As with their previous release, "Dark Hours" also features some splendid guest players, including guitarist Michael Romeo (Symphony X) and drummer Conny Pettersson (Anata). "Dark Hours" was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Symphony X, Paradise Lost, Amon Amarth) at Fascination Street. Additionally, there will be a video filmed for the track, "Judas Must Die".

LOVECHILD were set up in fall 2002 in Vaduz (Principality of Liechtenstein) by Roger Kaufmann (guitars). He could convince Werner Schweizer, the former Frontman of the famous Swiss Hardrock Band SATROX, to join the Band as a Leadvocalist.
LOVECHILD have been completed by Sven Sieber on the Bass and Danny Zimmermann (ex-SATROX) on the Drums.
Already in May 2003 during one week LOVECHILD recorded their first self produced Maxi-CD, containing the four Songs „Battlefield“, „Perfect Day“, „Midnight Train“ and „Close“. Especially the "Reviews" of the bigger German Hardrock-Metal-magazines (Metal Hammer, Rock It, Soundcheck and Break Out) praised the LOVECHILD Maxi-CD.
The Band has been compared with international Top-Acts like GUNS 'N ROSES, STEELHEART, DAVID COVERDALE, WINGER, TYKETTO, QUEENSRYCHE or BON JOVI.
In the meantime there new Longplayer "SOUL COLLECTOR" (12 Songs) of LOVECHILD has been recorded and produced at NewSound Studio by Tommy Vetterli and mastered by Finnvox-Studios.

If there was an album that was made to be played in a stadium, this is it. The album opens with "Is This A Heartbreak Or A Loaded Gun" this song screams "Arena Anthem" from the get go! Jacob Lynam's use of the "Voice Box" would make Mr. Frampton proud! Hard rock with a heavy pop sensibility served up to perfection. Let's just say, if you're a rocker, and this song doesn't get the head moving, it's time for some Barry Manilow! "Enemy" is another balls to the wall rocker that will have you banging your heads, with Tom Keifer of Cinderella and the boys from Hinder on gang vocals. The leadoff single, "Save My Soul" is a guitar driven rocker that will get your rocks off in no time flat. Then you have "White Trash Superstar" a song the band dedicated to their fan club. When it comes down to it, all these songs are great, there is no filler here. So catchy and melodic, you will be humming and singing along, after a listen or two. Lynam is a long overdue breath of fresh air with a very fresh sound. Let's hope the youth of today can figure that out too and not just the people who remember what great music was all about. 'Tragic City Symphony' is one of those rare albums where every song fits every mood. Never have I heard a band that is more true to themselves and their own style than this band. LYNAM fans, and all rock fans, I strongly recommend this album for you.

After seventeen long years singer Oni Logan and guitar wizard George Lynch found their way back together and again show their amazing abilities in some killer new Hard Rock songs.” I would say this new record "Smoke and Mirrors", is the record we should have put out as a follow up to "Wicked Sensation"...better late then never I guess...”, says Lynch presenting the new record.
Lynch Mob were formed by George Lynch, one of the few genuine guitar heroes of substance to emerge from the Los Angeles scene, after DOKKEN split up in 1989. The band’s first album” Wicked Sensation” went on to sell over 500,000 units in the US and featured the talents of singer Oni Logan, Anthony Esposito on bass and another former DOKKEN member Mick Brown on drums. After a tour in support of Queensryche, Logan opted out, with Robert Mason taking his place on the follow up self titled release. However Lynch and Brown eventually returned to Dokken releasing 2 studio albums until he left again in late 1997 putting together a several new incarnations of Lynch Mob and exploring new sounds with different projects.
However Oni Logan and George Lynch would found themselves again in a studio in the summer of 07. “We weren’t sure what was going to happen” recalls George, “but as soon as I heard what Oni was coming up with just off the top of his head, I knew the old chemistry was still there. So we spent many months writing. The first batch of songs had almost a Southern Rock feel to them and there was quite a bit of acoustic and slide work on those. They also had a genuine 70's vibe. These first songs had elements reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac, Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Stones and it was all very bluesy. We lived with those songs for a while then went in and did a second round of collaboration. We had tightened up as a band after touring over the summer and we consciously wrote the newer material with the "Wicked Sensation" record in mind. So we updated the earlier songs a little and wrote a few more "adventurous" track and went in to start recording”.
Joining the new line-up are bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and drummer Scott Coogan (Brides of Destruction, Ace Frehley). More than a band, this team is guaranteed to create one of the most explosive shows you can ever experience and shines big time on the brand new recording which is set to bring back Lynch Mob on the map of the most exciting Hard Rock bands around! “Marco Mendoza is literally a gift from Heaven” continues Lynch. “How they figured out how to stuff all that talent and goodness into one person I'll never know. they must have made a mistake at the factory! lol... then there’s Scott Coogan on drums.... baby of the band.. he’s very solid, very "Bonhamesque". not sure if that’s a real word!”
