Escape Into The Sun
Over the last 25 years Bob Catley has established a reputation as one of Britain's top vocalists with his work in MAGNUM and more recently as a solo artist.
Tony O’Hora’s name came to prominence when he joined the british melodic metal band PRAYING MANTIS in 1998 for the recording of one of their most successful and critically acclaimed albums ever entitled “Forever In Time”.
Tony got ample recognition for his vocal abilities since his vocals were praised by the whole press that spoke of “clear, soaring and downright heavenly vocals” (Powerplay Magazine, UK) and “the best new vocal talent heard this year” (Hard Roxx Magazine, UK).
His stint with PRAYING MANTIS lasted for another album, the masterpiece “Nowhere To Hide” where his voice represented the perfect match for the MAGNUM-influenced sound of the album. He also performed with the band at the GODS 2000 festival in Wigan, UK.
After PRAYING MANTIS, Tony started teaching in a Music College in Birmingham taking the challenge of teaching young musicians, engineers and kids who want to be involved with entertainment and at the same time he toured and became a permanent member of Andy Scott’s SWEET, which he just recently left.
During the year 2005 he started to exchange musical ideas with guitar wizard and producer Magnus Karlsson (STARBREAKER, LAST TRIBE, ALLEN / LANDE) upon suggestion of Frontiers Records President, Serafino Perugino. The two musicians liked each other and hence they went on exchanging music and vocals over the internet.
The final result, Tony O’Hora’s debut album “Escape Into The Sun” is the perfect continuation of PRAYING MANTIS after “Nowhere To Hide”, with hints of the classic Hard Rock sound that Magnus has been contributing to bands and albums like LAST TRIBE and ALLEN / LANDE. A rich and varied sound with beautiful songs and a memorable vocal performance makes this album a true enrichment for every rock fan !

Dream Zone
ON THE RISE debut album caused a stir among the Melodic Rock fans community in 2003. Hailing from Bergen , Norway , Terje Eide is now the only member of ON THE RISE. His musical career started at 17 when he won a local talent contest. He later enjoyed a stint with the band Heaven & Hell, a rock institution in Bergen in the 80s. In 1986 he won the Norwegian National Rock Championship on national TV with the band The Heat. Terje went back to his Melodic Rock roots in 2000 starting a project who later on became ON THE RISE. A demo was made in early 2001 which immediately raised the interest of Frontiers Records who signed the project in June 2002.

Nuclear Winter
Orion’s Reign was born as an idea back in 2001 but it actually took flesh and blood in the late 2005 in the central Greek city of Athens. With that incarnation, formed without a singer, the band explored instrumental paths and produced two promo CDs (‘Steel horizon’ and ‘The Guiding Light’) which found remarkable acceptance and gained the interest of both metal fans and the press. The group entered a competition for the Greek Heavy Metal and Metal Hammer Magazine and won a place on their upcoming CD “The Hellenic Assault” with the song “Steel Horizons”.
In 2006 a page is turned in the band’s music approach to a more neoclassic–epic–power path and Yiannis joins the band as a lead singer. Shortly after the bands enters Fragile studios to record a 6-track EP, titled Beyond Eternity, including some songs from the upcoming full length release and a few other among them a Christmas cover of the song “The First Noel”. By the end of 2008 the band’s formation and the material receives extremely positive feedback as it has been sent to record labels, magazines all around the world, radio and tv stations. “The first Noel” is requested by a Greek Rock Radio station to be used as background music to its advertisement and it is also included in a Christmas compilation CD which cuts more than 5000 copies.
Beyond Eternity it was just a flavour of what was to follow and the band enters the studio once again like in trance to record with no rest the full length album. The recordings are completed by 2009 and CD is sent once again to label companies and magazines receiving flattering reviews (like the German Metal Hammer article which groups it in the most promising releases of the year, referring to the band as the power metal version of iron maiden and Yiannis as Dickinson’s Cousin.) By the end of 2009 beggining of 2010 Orion’s Reign come to an agreement With Rock It Up Records/ Ice Warrior Records and both parties finally sign a covenant and the collaboration begins. During January to March 2010 the band enters the studio again to record 5 brand new tracks, which are to be included in the Ice Warrior Deluxe Limited Edition Version on this release as bonus material. The Cd is entitled The Nuclear Winter considering 16 tracks and many guest appearances of bands like (Firewind, T.Ziras, Fragile Vastness, W.E.B. and more), planned to be of record store shelves worldwide in late April 2010.

Break Away
There is no doubt about it that Steve Overland is one of the best European melodic rock crooners past and present and he has proved with THE LADDER and his contribution to the VOICES OF ROCK project that his voice is still top notch. Most of the melodic rock fans would love to see a new FM album or at least a FM flavoured solo album, but I’m afraid “Break Away” won’t fullfill this expectations. The bottom line is that “Break Away” has been written and produced by GRAND ILLUSION mastermind Anders Rydholm and it simply means that this could be another album from the Swedes with a different singer. Don’t get me wrong, “BA” is a first class melodic rock release, but it can’t match the high expectations.

Overmaster was founded in 2006 by singer "Gus" Gustavo Adrian Gabarro, after six years and four albums with the Italian power metal band White Skull. The idea behind "Madness of War" and its 11 tracks, is to illustrate the horrors of war and its different faces through the centuries, from the Ancient Greece era, to the modern Malvinas/Falklands war and the young suicide children in Middle East. Over this sad topics, Gus and Overmaster were able to create a dramatic and emotional atmosphere, where the description of the "madness of war" is expressed through a galloping and unrelenting drumming/bass lines, a textured guitar work, atmospheric keyboards and the expressive voice of Gus. Every piece then fall in the right place, creating an album that musically at first sight might seems inspired by the Teutonic heavy metal school, but maintains a clear and self-identity thanks to the layered and multifaceted work of each and every one of his interpreters.
