The closest comparison to the music of Quade's Rock In Motion would be in my opinion classic mid to late 80's Honeymoon Suite. Trampled Under Foot
QUARTERBACK was a band from Denmark and their only CD 'Trampled Under Foot' (1992) is pretty much sought after at the AOR fans. There are 11 tracks on the CD that were produced by the band with help of Peter Brander. Musically the CD is in the style of melodic rock bands such as BB STEAL, DE MONT, ROADHOUSE, BLUE TEARS and some 80s DEF LEPPARD, but more AOR orientated. Opener "Tumblin' Down" is right away the best song on the whole CD. This is fantastic midtempo AOR that sounds like a polished mixture between the 80s DEF LEPPARD, STEVE PLUNKETT and THE STORM. This song is really huge and the catchy AOR chorus will stuck in your head forever!Limited edition (1000 copies) re-issue.

Of course this time we might be disappointed again, because “Seattle’s Finests” don’t release a new „Rage For Order“, an ultimate „Empire“-follow-up or an „Operation: Mindcrime – Part II“, that deserves the album titel. But on the other hand: We can be happy, that we’re not confronted again with grungy nuts like „Q2K“ or „Hear In The Now Frontier“. “American Soldier” surprises with moody mid-tempo songs, brilliant arrange-ments (also with instruments like saxophone, which is not common in heavy metal) and experimental sounds à la “Empire” as well as “Promised Land”, which make the music interesting at any second. All in all open-minded people will find in “American Soldier a new favourite album”!
