GAIA EPICUS's video for the song "New Life" can be viewed below. The clip features home video footage taken during 2006, including from the recording sessions for the group's last CD, various live shows and from the band's visit to Minneapolis in August 2006. The track comes off GAIA EPICUS's third album, "Victory", which was released in January through the band's own label, Epicus Records.
GAIA EPICUS mainman Thomas C. Hansen is scheduled to release his debut solo album, "Like a Shadows", via Epicus Records. According to a press release, the CD contains 11 tracks, eight of which are instrumentals. All instruments on the album are played by Thomas except a few small guest parts with trumpets, flute and female vocals. The music is described as "melodic hard rock/metal with some progressive elements."

It was with great surprise that in 1988 Kai Hansen decided to leave Helloween: the band he co-founded and that reached a very high level of success in a very few years, ending up infl uencing and challenging the bands that were once the original inspiration for a group of talented and gifted young rock musicians from Hamburg. Kai Hansen and Helloween quickly moved from the rehearsal room to the most prestigious metal festivals and got used to the feeling of being in the charts all over the world.
Hansen left Halloween just when the band had fi nally reached international stardom and after having won the appreciation of metal giants such as
Iron Maiden who often publicly championed the German band. Hansen and Halloween are now very good friends, often sharing the stage, but back
then the divorce was a proper rock and roll acrimonious one: a true shock for the metal scene. The reasons that brought Kai Hansen to leave the band
are still the subject of interviews and fans debate. Many years later, it is very obvious that as much as Kai Hansen and Halloween had left a mark with
seminal albums, his destiny was to lead his own band.
25 years after the official debut, Gamma Ray and earMUSIC have started a monumental work to re-release the entire production by Gamma Ray in
deluxe double CDs.
The original albums will be re-presented in new shining, remastered version on the fi rst disc (with the inclusions of all B-sides) while the second CD will be dedicated to old live recordings, demos digitalised for the fi rst time from the original tapes saved by all members of the band, alternative versions and recent studio and live recordings.
Initially released as a Kai Hansen solo album, Heading For Tomorrow revealed its intention after extracting the LP out of its sleeve (it was still the
days of LP, or is it again?): A second cover was hidden inside the LP, revealing the name of the newborn band: Gamma Ray. A band that was destined
to stay and to conquer a loyal fanbase all over the world.
After the global critical success of Empire Of The Undead , Kai Hansen has decided to continue the collaboration with the production team made of Eike Freese and Alex Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn). Together with Kai, the duo has been working on digitalising and remastering hundreds of tapes, alternative versions and ideas that were so far hidden in Gamma Ray private archive.

This release was recorded during the 1993 Melodic Metal Tour at Hamburg’s Dock’s venue on September 25, sharing the bill with fellow German headbangers Rage, whose performance has also been released on DVD and the review can be seen here.
The lineup for this show consisted of Ralf Scheepers on lead vocals, Kai Hansen on guitar, Dirk Schlachter on guitar and keyboards, Jan Rubach on bass and Thomas Nack on drums. The show was to see one of the last performances of Scheepers as he left the band soon after this tour.
Based on a three album recording career including the albums Heading For Tomorrow, Sigh No More and Insanity and Genius the band had an established fan base coming into this tour. The show is a mix of live performances and interviews, giving a great insight into the show but also to some behind the scenes goings on. It also includes footage in the recording studio for the production of the Insanity and Genius album.

According to a press release, the new GAMMA RAY CD is "classy, fast-paced and deep, and holds a few surprises in store which distinguish the band from the mass of acts who try their hand at similar styles and sounds. . . The band's stylistic range [includes] a full-throttle number such as 'Rise', the rhythmic and melodically diverse 'Time To Live', and the multilayered anthem 'All You Need To Know' (which has given rise to speculation about a spectacular guest singer), as well as the sensitive ballad 'No Need To Cry', composer/lyricist Dirk Schlächter's attempt to come to terms with the untimely death of his father. Then they simply gathered a couple of highly regarded musicians, also old time friends, which are considered as being natural and important parts of the Swedish heavy metal and hard rock history. Göran helped Ralf to complete the songs and the arrangements were done by the group. Jens Johansson (keyboards), of Stratovarius fame, was hanging out at the studio at one occasion. He was asked to do a guest appearance on one of the album tracks. He came up with what might be one of his best solos ever. The members strongly believe in GEFF. Therefore the same line-up will record more albums in the future. Actually they are already in the pre-production procedure for a second album.

After recording two albums with christian rockers Whiteheart in the early 80''s and having made a name as session players in the Pop and Rock scene, guitarist / vocalist Dann Huff and his drummer brother David hooked up with Alan Pasqua, an experienced keyboards player which lent his talents to loads of Jazz and Rock artists and Nashville session bass player Mike Brignardello to form Giant.
They eventually signed with A&M Records and released 1989''s “Last of the Runaways”, featuring a classic, melodic hard rock sound, which yielded a top-twenty hit with "I''ll See You in My Dreams". Giant’s debut album is still regarded nowadays as one of the highest points in melodic hard rock of the end of the eighties melting diverse influences such as Van Halen, Journey and U2 to create an instantly recognizable sound. After countless tours and live performances in the US and Europe, the band recorded the follow up album Time to Burn in 1991. Slightly more aggressive than it''s predecessor, but still magnificent in the production and songwriting departments. this album is also regarded as a main source of influence for many melodic and hard rock bands nowadays.
Soon after the release of “Time To Burn”, Alan Pasqua decided to quit the band and went back to session work. The band toured once again Europe and US without him, but soon after disbanded. Dann Huff then became one of the most respected producers of our era, working in the Rock, Pop and Country Music with countless artists including Shania Twain, Megadeth, Faith Hill and several others. His brother David also started to become more and more involved in the production business and thanks to a mutual friend he was introduced in 1999 to Frontiers Records managers Serafino Perugino and Mario de Riso. This eventually brought to a meeting in Chicago were the label proposed David to bring back the name and the music of such a great band. The “III” album was released in 2001 with major acclaim in the Classic and Melodic Hard Rock community.
However Dann’s busy schedule along with the other members’ commitments, made the reunion impossible to carry on. However the vision of bringing back Giant as a living band unit with a recording and touring line-up and with of course the possibility to carry on the enormous legacy of the music produced so far with the same quality was raised a few times in conversations between David Huff and Frontiers. As time went by it became apparent that Dann Huff could not be a full part of this concept, even though he loved everything that Giant was. Thus original members, drummer David Huff and bassist Mike Brignardello, who wanted to go back to Rock, started an endless research for the right musicians that could be part of a renewed Giant line-up. And in the end the choice fell on singer extraordinaire Terry Brock (Strangeways, Seventh Key) and on John Roth (Winger) on guitars.
Dann Huff in any case participated to the songwriting co-writing with the new line-up members “Our Love”, “Double Trouble”, “Plenty of Love”, “Save Me” and offering songs from his catalogue, such as the title track, “Through My Eyes” (both co-written with Mark Spiro) and “Two Worlds”. He also contributed lead guitars on “Save Me” and “Believer (Redux)”, the latter being one of the 3 songs written by Erik Martensson and Robert Sall of W.E.T. with Miqael Persson (the other two “Never Surrender” and “Prisoner of Love” are a Martensson/Persson collaboration).
“Promise Land” was mixed by Ben Fowler (Van Zandt, Cher, Meat Loaf) and mastered by Joe Palmaccio (3 GRAMMY awards won) .

Seeing as the majority of great sleaze bands are coming out of Sweden these days, it is no surprise that one of the originators of that scene have decided to return to show the young guns how things are done. Forming way back in 1983, it wasnt until the late 80s when the band hit their stride with the killer Dynamite Sex Doze album. Now they are back with what is essentially a greatest hits collection, but because the old master tapes were lost over the years the band decided to enter the studio with Chris Laney and remix their best tunes and revive a couple of previously unreleased tracks. It is almost impossible not to sing along with such shit-kicking boogie-infused songs as "Spitfire", "Hairdown", "Young Alcoholic", "Crazy Sioux" and the perfect "Dynamite Sex Dose". Irish rockers GLYDER have completed work on their fourth studio album, "Backroads To Byzantium".
According to a press release, the CD "takes the listener on a road trip that has a hint of Americana and progresses to the re-emerging troubles on the streets of Northern Ireland to being homeless on the streets of London. Other themes on the album concern the evils of the tabloid press and global warming. The album ends off in a reflective mood about mortality and how it's not the end."
GLYDER's new singer Jackie Robinson has a unique rock voice that sometimes hints at Paul Rodgers and Phil Mogg. Hailing from Northern Ireland, he was recruited through an add on the Internet and because the rest of the band are from the South of Ireland, the album was written between Jackie and the two GLYDER guitarists, Bat Kinane and Pete Fisher, over email. Working with some home recording software and a few Gmail accounts, the new GLYDER album took shape over Christmas 2010 and early 2011. The album was recorded in Dublin and mixed in Copenhagen. The stunning artwork was created by Mark Wilkinson.

Homegrown - Alive In Lugano ( Cd / Dvd )
'Homegrown - Alive In Lugano' contains a live recording of the band's concert on July 17th, 2010 in Lugano, which was one of the last concerts with vocalist Steve Lee, who tragically died during a motorbike trip through the USA on October 5th 2010 in a not-at-fault accident. Due to the sudden accidental death of Steve Lee, the CD's release was postponed.
"Lugano was where it all began and so the circle of all that we've experienced with our friend Steve Lee is completed right there", comments bassist Marc Lynn. "The memories of the past 20 years on stage with Steve are being brought to life intensively with this album once again. They reflect the memorable time that we were able to enjoy on the Mount Olympus of Rock'n'Roll."
The concert in Lugano took place in the course of the local HOG Ralley, a big annual event organized by Harley Davidson bikers. This gig in Lugano meant a lot to Gotthard. Being able to play for the Harley-clique in their hometown was an unforgettable experience.
All of the musicians of Gotthard are enthusiastic Harley-Davidson bikers themselves and perform for the purposes of respective events on every occasion or take part in rallies. Besides, "Homegrown" was one of the very few concerts that Gotthard played in their hometown Lugano.
"Steve was warmer and more cheerful than he had been in a long time", guitarist Freddy Scherer remembers. "The chemistry between him and the audience couldn't have been more intense, despite the fact that there were more than 20,000 people standing on the piazza. Fortunately we've recorded this memorable concert, for it unfortunately was one of the last ones with Steve."
"And all that though the gig was on the rocks for some time at that evening", drummer Hena Habegger recollects. "Shortly before we were supposed to go on stage, we got caught in a thunderstorm and the whole equipment got soaked. However, we didn't give up hope and finally got our start signal just before midnight."
The "home match" in Lugano includes several spectacular bonus materials, among others -- as an absolute highlight -- one yet unreleased song entitled "The Train", which Gotthard recorded "live in the studio" together with Steve and which didn't appear on any record so far.
The additionally enclosed bonus DVD shows chosen recordings of another historical concert of Gotthard: On the 31st of December 1999, the rock group played a gig over the course of the millennium -- which also took place on the local piazza in Lugano and can be seen as one of the band's most exceptional shows to date.
"Music let us travel 'round the whole world together within the last 20 years", guitarist Leo Leoni summarizes. "In doing so, we've shared lots of unforgettable moments that rank among the most beautiful ones of our lives. Anyhow, returning to Lugano has always been something special. It's the place we belong to and in which we are deeply ingrained."
Apart from the bonus material, the DVD also contains interviews with the bandmembers remaining, which makes 'Homegrown - Alive In Lugano' a matchless memento.
'Homegrown - Alive In Lugano' will be released in remembrance of the first anniversary of Steve's death and reminds of the world's greatest rock vocalist in an extremely personal way. The CD will solely be released in an upmarket high-end Digipak-edition, to do justice to the special legacy that Steve Lee bequeathed to this world. It will be published on the 30th of September via the Musikvertrieb (Switzerland) and Nuclear Blast/Warner Music (rest of the world).

By now it should have gotten around that GRAND DESIGN are to be understood as the Swedish answer to DEF LEPPARD, because the musical similarities between the two acts were too obviously and unmistakably on the band’s first two records. Despite various line-up changes the musicial direction hasn’t changed on the third album "Thrill Of The Night". Pelle Saether and his boys are still outstanding in repcliacting the classic DEF LEPPARD sound and at one point or another they add some discreet Glam Rock elements to it. So in summary their material has a slightly higher party factor. The strongest tracks on the album are the straightforward rocker "10 Outta 10", the bombastic mid-tempo anthem "The Rush Is Gone" that Joe Elliott & Co. would probably kill for, the multi-layered "Rip Iddup ", the somewhat ballad-held "You''''''''''''''''re The Only One" and the excellent title track. The other five tracks of the album are just a little unsignificantly weaker. The only sore point in the sound of GRAD DESIGN is the sometimes very high-pitched voice of Pelle Saether. Let''''''''''''''''s make it short: If you liked GRAND DESIGN’s first two albums, "Time Elevates" and "Idolizer", or if you enjoyed the recent LOUD LION album “Die Tough”, then "Thrill Of The Night" is an essential purchase for you! It didn't take long for Grand Lux to get well known in the local scene, thanks to their excellent musicianship, and of course their impressive live shows, filled with fire, pyro-effects and powerful heavy metal.
Late 2004, Grand Lux released their debut album, "Iron Will" on Norwegian Sand Records. The album got a great response from all over the world, and the demand for the band to play live increased heavily. Since the beginning, Grand Lux has played some great festivals - The Quart Festival included, Norway's largest music festival.
Early 2006, Grand Lux started to work on songs for a new album. The band came in contact with Sweden's Ulterium Records, and during summer 2006 a contract was signed. In November, Grand Lux entered Dub Studios in Kristiansand with Endre Kirkesola as engineer.
The result of this recording - the progression since "Iron Will" is overwhelming, the new album "Carved In Stone," is far superior that it's precursor. Grand Lux here delivers an album filled with great 80's Heavy Metal, and no fan of the genre will be dissapointed. Great musicianship, catchy and well written songs, and an excellent, crystal clear production makes this album a winner.

A New Dawn
Grand Slam was founded in 2007 in Malmö, Sweden, by drummer Andy Swaniz (ex-Quadruple), with the aim to appeal to a wide audience with their melodic rock style.
Bassist Henrik Hansson (ex-Hollywood) got on board the same year and songwriter Peter Alpenborg was brought in to get the ball rolling. There have been several lineup changes over the years, as well as a number of musicians hired only for specific recordings or gigs.
Up until spring of 2010, the focus had been exclusively on studio recordings, but now it was time for the band to do a stage debut. The debut was made in "Grand"-style, with an appearance in the TV-show "Talang", Sweden''s equivalent of "Britain''s Got Talent", with over one million viewers.
Later that year, the band was joined by keyboardist Daniel Grönberg Svensson who also started contributing to the songwriting, and guitarist Thomas Klintberg.
In the summer of 2012, Grand Slam found the perfect lead singer and frontman for the band, Andy Sinner (ex-Trash Queen). With the addition of two female backing singers, Ivana Papak and Lina Vernblom, Grand Slam was now ready to go out and perform for a live audience.
They entered the worldwide contest Emergenza and made it to the regional finals.
The band continued to play live during the summer and autumn of 2013, gathering a strong fan-following.
There was still something missing, and the void was filled by the addition of another guitarist, Andreas Gullstrand. The backup vocalists, Ivana Papak and Lina Vernblom, decided to leave the band that same year.
In 2014, Grand Slam went into the studio to record a three-song EP, "Waiting For Tomorrow", which received considerable attention worldwide. The EP was recorded and produced by Erik Wiss in Peekroom Studios.
Guitarist Thomas Klintberg left the band shortly thereafter, and the remaining band members signed a contract with AOR Heaven to release Grand Slam''s debut album, "A New Dawn".
Erik Wiss was once again brought in to record the album, which is best described as a well-balanced mix of the original and new Grand Slam sound.

German power metallers GRAVE DIGGER will release their new album, "The Clans Will Rise Again" in Europe on October 1 via Napalm Records. The CD was recorded between mid-May and mid-July at the Meadow Studios, which is owned by GRAVE DIGGER's new guitarist Axel Ritt, and Principal Studios, where all of GRAVE DIGGER albums since 1995's "Heart Of Darkness" have been tracked. It was produced by Chris Boltendahl and mixed by Jörg Umbreit.

Graven Image was formed in Los Angeles in 1992,at the tail end of when Metal reigned in the city of Angels. The band came together when singer Jimmy Williams met guitarist Brian Gartland in 1991. Williams was from the popular Akron, Ohio band US Metal - as well as vocal mentor for Ripper Owens (Judas Priest , Malmsteen , Winters Bane).
Gartland was from the popular Cleveland band Wretch, and the two moved to LA to pursue success with a new band. The union of Gartland and Williams led to another inception of Wretch in LA, which underwent several personnel changes until a chance meeting at a local watering hole led to the final inception of Graven Image, when bassist Rich Hansen, drummer Doug Clelland (both from LA band TAKARA), and MIRROR guitarist John Bigwood, joined together in 1992.
The band spent the next four years songwriting, recording demos, and building a following from it's many live performances in the LA area. A recording contract was offered to the band by Republic Records in 1993, which was later turned down. Graven Image was a popular draw in the LA club scene, receiving rave reviews from local magazines, and radio play on the famous KNAC. As shifts in musical trends saw the demise of both KNAC and the entire Metal scene, the band also saw a switch in drummers from Doug Clelland to Jerry Beller in 1994. The band continued on until changes in musical and professional directions finally led to the demise of Graven Image in 1996.

Since reuniting in January 07' to perform a benefit concert, Great White has moved forward and hit the studio for their first album in 8 years. "It's just like old times," states lead singer, Jack Russell. "There's a bond that forms between people that is very special. I've missed my friends."
2007 marks Great White's 25th Anniversary, so original members Jack Russell (vocals), Mark Kendall (lead Guitar), Audie Desbrow (drums), Michael Lardie (Guitar/keyboards) and Sean McNabb (bass) have been in studio the last few months writing and recording. Back To The Rhythm is being mixed, produced, and engineered by band member Michael Lardie while collectively all are adding their sounds to the mix. "The new songs sound fresh to me, very Great White, but with an approach of what we sound like in a live performance situation," explains Michael Lardie. "Kendall and I are having fun channeling our Stones roots and playing off each other in the Richards/Woods tradition."

Wishing Well
Greg Leon is a Los Angeles hard rock guitarist notable for his stints in Quiet Riot and Dokken. He was also in a pre-Mötley Crüe band with Tommy Lee called Suite 19. Leon is considered an influential and important musical personality in the Hollywood hard rock/heavy metal scene of the late 70s and early 80s, playing an integral part in the successive fortunes of the acts he was associated with. Greg later fronted the Greg Leon Invasion, with bassist Joey Vera(later of Armored Saint, Fate's Warning and Anthrax) and drummer Carl Elizondo (later of Jag Wire, and playing under the stage name Carl James). Elizondo and Vera's replacement, Chuck Stevens, played with Leon on the Greg Leon Invasion picture disc released by Azra/R2R in 1983. He took the place of Randy Rhoads in Quiet Riot, and as the pre-George Lynch guitarist in Dokken. During this period Leon also had a considerable local reputation as a guitar teacher, working at Randy Rhoads' mother's guitar studio in Burbank. Leon had several incarnations of the Invasion and played with various LA acts after his exciting early days. Leon also had a brief time with Greenworld Records' Midwestern act Vyper, while at the same time gathering a name for himself as a guitar amp modifying specialist. In the late 90s, Leon fronted a band called Wishing Well which also featured Survivor drummer Marc Droubay and English-born bassist Stuart Brooks (ex-Black Cat Bones, Leafhound). The trio released their eponymous debut album in 1997. However, by 2003 Leon was once again playing the LA club scene under the name The Greg Leon Invasion, featuring Boston-born bassist George Roelke, taking the group for a European festival tour in 2005 on the strength of new recordings, coupled with the myth related to his name.

Italian guitar wizard Aldo Giuntini is back for the release of his brand new
GIUNTINI PROJECT "IV" album on May 24th 2013.
It has been six years but Aldo is now back with the fourth chapter of his
Project. "My way of writing and producing the songs needs a lot of time", he
says, "One could say I am a perfectionist, but when I have musical ideas for
my guitar, I often have the other guys working with their own inputs: Also I
need to have Tony Martin to work on the lyrics at the end, so this takes
away a lot of time".
Aldo comments "Project IV continues the line of Project II, III, musically
and I'' m sure that who loved my 2nd, and 3rd work will appreciate the IV
album in the same way and more, since the production work is "a lot
improved" this time and produced by Dario Mollo (Mollo / Martin). The sound
of Giuntini''s work is a combination of "the warmth and the power of BLACK
SABBATH "Headless Cross", "Tyre", Rainbow "Long Live Rock & Roll and Rising"
and DIO "Holy Diver" with energetic sound of LOUDNESS, the Japanese metal
heroes!", while Giuntini''s guitar playing is mainly influenced by Akira
Takasaki, Vivian Campbell, Edward Van Halen, Jake E. Lee, John Norum and, of
course Malmsteen.
Handling all vocals once again on "Project IV" is none other than Tony
Martin (ex Black Sabbath), with the help of Ezio Secomandi (on drums), Dario
Patti (on keyboards) and Fulvio Gaslini (on bass). "I wanted to have Tony
again" explains Aldo, "because he is my favourite voice and I think that the
blend of our styles is just perfect!"
Project IV promises to be like a breath of fresh air and will please the
long time fans as well as the new ones, which are bound to fall in love with

In the late ''80s and early ''90s several hard rock/hair metal bands were unmercifully swallowed up by that nasty grunge fad. In between the flannel shirts and baggy jeans, bands like Tyketto, Electric Angels and XYZ struggled for their place among the Nirvanas and Pearl Jams of the music world.
During that period a band on the rise from Hollywood were doing the complete opposite of everything that Seattle was producing -- the band were called Gutterboys. Unfortunately, Gutterboys didn''t have the Sunset Strip opportunities like so many before them, and with the climate of music changing by the mid ''90s the band decided to call it quits. Fast forward almost 20 years, to 2012, with so many of their Sunset Strip contemporaries once again thriving and their original line-up intact, Gutterboys were back. In the next several months the band shared the stage with the likes of Tuff, Love/Hate, White Lie, L.A. Guns and several others. Now almost a year after their reunion, Gutterboys have finally released their debut CD End Of The Road... and it was well worth the wait.
The opening track "Don''t Call It Love" is a raunchy thumper that throws us back to the classic hair-metal days of sex in cars, video tape and threesomes. By the fourth song, the TNT-esque title track, we know exactly what Gutterboys are serving -- no bullshit, in your face tunes dripping with melody, big choruses and flashy/ballsy guitars. Sandwiched in between these slices of sleaze supremacy is the soft and warm "Baby" and the call to cellphone waving... uh, I mean lighter waving, "Another Try" -- a slow flowing tale of regret and lost love that sits well in between hair metal classics like "I Remember You", "Forever" and "Heaven". There''s no shortage of versatility with the revved up, bluesy "Lover Boy" to the Randy Rhoads minded "Dee" through to the album''s closer "Living Doll", from its finger snapping, jazzy intro building to a classic homage to Van Halen''s "Beautiful Girls".
Heavily influenced by the classic hair metal icons before them, Gutterboys have made it through a long journey to get here. With so many classic bands trying to reinvent themselves, Gutterboys stay true to their roots and deliver -- End Of The Road is well worth your time.

Gynger Lynn formed in 1989 when bassist Jim Stuppy paid a visit to Dean Pressley, the lead singer and guitarist for Chicago-based band Cheri Lane. Jim and Dean spent the entire afternoon talking about collaborating. Over the course of the same day, Jim would eventually introduce Dean to Will Hair, who in turn called drummer Frank Paul that same evening. The four musicians spent the next two weeks writing and playing in Frank’s basement.
Within a month, the newly formed Gynger Lynn had hit “The Windy City” like a ferocious storm. Local management companies and producers began to take notice. After recording two demo cassettes at The Playroom with Joe Bader at the helm, building the perfect road crew, and continuously writing new material, Gynger Lynn was off to conquer the Chicago music scene. The band played six to eight shows a month, rehearsed five days a week, and basically lived the rock-n-roll lifestyle to its fullest.
Over the course of the next couple of months, Gynger Lynn would gain interest from Hounds and Columbia recording artist John Hunter. John would soon become the band’s long time manager and was determined to see the Gynger Lynn maximize their musical talents and showmanship. John later took the band to Chicago Recording Company to record some of the band’s best material with Chris Sheppard. Gynger Lynn would also begin to open for many national acts such as Doro, Tony MaCalpine, Tuff, Lillian Axe, Helix, Blue Oyster Cult, and many others. Gynger Lynn would also share the stage with such local acts as Smash Alley, Ript, Little Venus, Nikki Foxx, Onyx, and many others.
Although times were good for Gynger Lynn, changes began to develop about midway through with Frank and Dean and their collaboration. Ergo, the side projects were short lived. Frank had decided to pursue a different genre and has since gone on to become a great country, pop, and Christian recording artist. Frank can be found by visiting www.frankpaul.com.
Dean would soon head back to Gynger Lynn and at the same time would add two new band members with Gavin Jadwin on keyboards and Luke James Lorraine on drums. Gynger Lynn was now a five piece machine and was ready to get back to business as usual. The band went back to six to eight shows a month, often playing double shows on weekends. Known for their punked-up version of “The Time Warp,” lots of silly string, sufficient supply of beer, beautiful girls at all of the shows, broken guitars, plenty of original material, hard work, and most importantly high-energy, Gynger Lynn never had to worry about giving the same show twice and appeared to be on their way.
Gynger Lynn was also beginning to play showcases for and meeting with many of the music industry’s top record executives from Warner Brothers, RCA, Columbia, Capital, and Geffen. The band would also see plenty of air time on The Spirit of Chicago 103.5 the Blaze.
In 1994, Gynger Lynn would eventually go their own way, as the record industry was no longer interested in signing bands of this nature. However, it was an incredible five year ride. Gynger Lynn had recorded a few dozen studio tracks, played hundreds of shows, and still remain friends to this day.

Rosary Of Tears 1988-1991 Outtakes & Unreleased
Collection of Gypsy Rose demos & outtakes most of them recorded in 1991, after their debut album "Prey". These unreleased songs, were supposed to be on the second album that never happened. Finally they are available to the fans for the first time ever! Carefully remastered and presented in a 20-page booklet with band biography (part 2), lyrics, rare photos and song-by-song notes written by Mr. Ross himself, plus short notes of drummer Steve Thomas, ex-guitarist Bryan Joyce and photographer Mark Weiss. This is probably the most anticipated Hard Rock archive collection release of 2018!

Shattered Affair 1986-89 Roots & Early Days
Gypsy Rose were a Canadian Hard Rock band formed in the late 80s that caught the attention of Gene Simmons on his newfound label Simmons Records that was operating through RCA. In 1990 the band had released their highly acclaimed debut album "Prey" (produced by Mr. Simmons himself) and they quickly became a strong name in the label so much that many would place high hopes in the band thinking they could become the next Danger Danger or even the next Skid Row. Eventually in 1991 things started to fall apart and the band didn''''''''t release the second album splitting up shortly after. The reason for a split up at this time in Rock history is a cliche but so real for the Hard Rock/Hair bands of the era: Band tension and lack of support from the label due to the change of the music climate (Grunge was in). You''''''''ve heard this story a million times before and most probably lived it. But this melodic brand of Hard Rock survived crawling through the desolate mid to late 90''''''''s until it exploded again in the new millennium in a more underground and sectarian spirit that makes possible GYPSY ROSE to be back again touring and have released all these rare tracks on physical digital format (yes, good old CD)!
(In collaboration with Michael Ross and longtime fan Mikael Svensson) proudly presents a compilation of early Gypsy Rose demos plus the previous Michael Ross AOR projects Shattered Heart and Secret Affair. Presented in a 16-page booklet that includes band biography (part 1), lyrics, rare photos and song commentaries from Mr. Ross himself, these seminal recordings were carefully remastered from the old tapes. The wait is over, finally the vaults were open, an absolute delight to all the fans!
