Perfect Insanity
The tenth JADED HEART studio album entitled “Perfect Insanity” on October 16th 2009.
Formed in 1990 by singer and songwriter Michael Bormann (ex Bonfire) and his brother Dirk Bormann (guitar) the line-up was completed the following year when Michael Müller (bass, ex The Sygnet) and former Mad Max drummer Axel Kruse joined the band.
The band’s breakthrough album “Slaves And Masters” was their second and was released in 1997. This record stayed in the Japanese Top Ten import charts for four months and in their home country Germany the band was featured on several national TV shows on RTL, PRO 7 and many more. After that Jaded Heart went out on a big tour with Axxis and Heaven’s Gate that staged more than 40 concerts throughout Europe .
After the release of “Trust”, Jaded Heart’s fifth album in 2003, the band and frontman Michael Bormann decided to part ways and the new Swedish frontman Johan Fahlberg (ex Scudiero) joined giving the following album “Helluva Time” in 2005 a fresher approach.
The band showed that they could live up on their legs after Bormann’s departure and after the release they toured as support for German metal heads Helloween in the south of Europe ( Italy , Spain , France ) and did a successful headlining tour all over Germany , Switzerland and Belgium . Peter Ostros, a long time friend of the guys, joined Jaded Heart as a steady member on guitar, bringing new influences to the band’s music.
Following 2007’s release of “Sinister Mind”, Jaded Heart headed back to the studio in 2009 for the new album christened “Perfect Insanity”. “The concept has to do with all the things happening in this world right now, a "Perfect Insanity”, explains drummer Axel Kruse. “Everyone is just thinking ´bout himself, and not about how to change all this shit that´s going on right now (wars/economic crisis etc.)”. Productionwise, the winning team of “Sinister Mind” was not changed with Michael Voss (Mad Max, Voices Of Rock) at the production helm, Chris Lausmann mixing / editing and Dennis Ward mastering. “Musically the style we´re gonna do right now is a so called mix of traditional Hard Rock and Melodic Metal, played with faith and heart!! Great production and sound!!”, says Axel.

Mastering at Sterling Studios New York has completed the production process and the forthcoming Asia Pacific Album Release Tour in June and July 2007 will see the album released in several countries within this region.

Often referred to as one of the American top Rock vocalists, Jimi Jamison has been the singer with Target, Cobra and finally Survivor – who rejoined in late 2011 - for more than a decade, apart from being an accomplished solo artist on his own. After a demo tape, which was sold almost secretly in 1984, the formation recorded their only album "Night Flight" in 1985 for the small label DBM Records. ROB ZOMBIE/ex-MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5 will release his fourth solo album, "Requiem", on June 3 via 60 Cycle Hum.
By definition requiem is prayer for the salvation of the soul(s) of the departed, requiem is also the title of various musical compositions used in such liturgical services. In the case of John 5, requiem is a mind-blowing, sinister guitar instrumental with song titles named after torture devices. "I find the macabre fascinating, it's all over history. In researching the torture devices I heard music to describe each one," explains John 5.
John 5 performs all instruments with the exception of the time-keeping by Zombie bandmate Tommy Clufetos (drums). The album was recorded in the middle of night that lent a cool vibe and only time John 5 had studio times. Most of the songs are 12-13 minutes long so John 5 decided to put in markers to divide them up so when songs change from track to track it seems to meld in to each other.

This exciting concept album was inspired by the life of Count Vlad III, Prince Of Wallachia, widely known as Vlad The Impaler or by his patronymic name Vlad Dracul(a). The whole story explores the inner struggle inside the multifaceted and engorging character that this mysterious 15th Century personality was, while also taking into account some of the metaphysical aspects that passed into literature, forming the whole basis of the vampire mythos.
Jorn Lande — who impersonates Dracula — is the main character of the album and the female parts are sung by Norwegian singer Lena Fløitmoen (representing Mina/Lucy from the Bram Stoker book). The drama of the story reveals Dracula''s inner battle, where he still remembers what true love was, and as he wandered the Earth for centuries with a thirst for blood, his loneliness and desire to be able to love again has led him to the brink of insanity. In the original Bram Stoker version, he leaves Transylvania by ship and when he meets Lucy''s best friend, she reminds him so much of his first love Mina, that he becomes obsessed. His mission is to take her as his bride, and make her Queen of the dark.
Musically, "Swing Of Death" is not like a typical rock opera or musical, since it has no storyteller or too many long instrumental parts and intros. It is an album that gets to the point with no detours and even if it exposes some diverse musical landscapes, it does include catchy and melodic songs with commercial radio potential. Vocally, this release gives you everything from Jorn Lande''s past extensive catalogue all in one album. Jorn''s ability to be innovative and original while at the same time showing where his roots came from, is truly unique. Jorn and Trond''s musical influence when creating this epic masterpiece came mostly from ''70s-era MEAT LOAF, QUEEN, ALICE COOPER, plus some other classic and more contemporary hard rock elements. Here Comes The Flood ( Carsten Lizard Schulz)
JULY REIGN is an international recording project featuring Sheldon Scrivner of Missoula, Montana, USA, Carsten 'Lizard' Schulz (Domain, Evidence One, Dead End Heroes) of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and Mark Duran of Denver, Colorado.
After hearing Evidence One on Pandora, Sheldon contacted Carsten and asked him if he would be interested in collaborating on some recordings and sent him a few music samples. Carsten quickly responded and said he indeed would be interested, and the seeds of July Reign were planted.
A few songs evolved into a whole album. Sheldon and Mark's friendship and musical relationship go way back in time to the big-hair metal days of the late 80s in Phoenix, Arizona.
Sheldon is influenced by the melodic emotion of David Gilmore, the energy of Joe Satriani, the fretboard acrobatics of guitar greats like Tony MacAlpine, Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore, and many others. He has forged his own style of coaxing fire and passion out of six strings. Inspired early on by the hard rock guitarists of the 70s, weaned on the guitar frenzy heydays of the 80s, and energized by today's modern generation of shredders, Sheldon's playing has never been better.
Having played over the years in various bands and recording projects from the Bay Area in California to Phoenix, Arizona, Sheldon moved to Montana in '99.

unkyard 69 was formed by Phoenix (rhythm guitar) and Spades (drums), and later added Lust (bass) and Jersey (lead guitar). The band was rehearsing and creating their first material while they were looking for a vocalist. After a long search Vaine showed up -- making it clear that he was the man for the job.
As soon as the line-up was complete, Junkyard 69 released their first 4-track demo called 'On A Wing And A Prayer' in September of 2011. The next step for the band was making the first official video for the single "We Want War", which was released at the dawn of 2012 as pure evidence that the band was rising and ready to rock all the way.

But no name-dropping here, because the music on this album speaks for itself.
