Magnus Karlsson name came into prominence as a guitar player for the Power Prog Metal Swedish combo LAST TRIBE.

Who's The Boss In The Factory
For songwriter and producer Jonas Reingold, in his main profession bassist with Swedish prog rock act, The Flower Kings, his band Karmakanic is much more than merely a musical side show. Whenever he has the time, he devotes himself to the group which consists of a nucleus featuring Reingold himself, Göran Edman (vocals), Krister Jonsson (guitar), Lalle Larsson (keyboards) and Zoltan Csörsz (drums). “Karmakanic consists of a core band, with guests coming and going,” he explains the general principle of the group. KELLY KEAGY is better known as drummer / singer with the US Melodic Rock heroes NIGHT RANGER. NIGHT RANGER’s first album “Dawn Patrol” (1982), reached number 38 on the U.S. charts, yet it was 1983’s “Midnight Madness” that established the band as a commercial force. Featuring the hits “(You Can Still) Rock in America” and “Sister Christian”, the record peaked at number 15 and sold over 1 million copies. 1985’s “7 Wishes” was even more successful, reaching number 10 on the charts. The band reformed in the mid-90s and have since released 4 more albums.
In 2001, Kelly took a turn down the solo album trail. “Time Passes” saw Kelly handling drums and vocals and collaborating with such artists as Jim Peterik, Kevin Chalfant, Brian Bart with obvious features from his band mates Brad Gillis, Jack Blades and Jeff Watson.
To date, Kelly and NIGHT RANGER are busy working on a new studio album. But in the meanwhile he found the time and the inspiration to finish his second solo work entitled “I'm Alive”. The new record was written and produced by Keagy in cooperation with Jim Peterik (PRIDE OF LIONS, ex SURVIVOR) and also features contributions from Kelly’s THE MOB band mate Reb Beach (WINGER, WHITESNAKE), Mike Aquino (PRIDE OF LIONS, MECCA), Brian Bart, Bruce Gaitsch, Tommy Denander on guitar and Michael Lardie (GREAT WHITE, NIGHT RANGER) on keyboards among others.
The new album sees Keagy exploring a slightly rougher edge compared to his debut album with a more live feel in the mix. “I look forward to playing these songs live, as they were written to be played live”, says Kelly and the joyful ride that this record offers, proves just that!

Ken Ingwersen started playing classical guitar at the age of 10, but was soon spelled by the electric guitar and rock music, listening to acts like KISS, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple and tons of other 70's and 80's rock bands. After more than a decade of break and many years of a complete withdrawal from the music business, Jarno Keskinen decided to revive Kenziner in 2012 and begun gathering a band around himself. He started by hiring Markku Kuikka (Status Minor, The Ragged Saints, etc.) as the singer, and through Markku, found also the rest of the members: the new line-up features Jukka Karinen (Thunderstone, Status Minor, etc.) on the keyboards, Make Lievonen (Embassy of Silence) on the drums and Jupi Hjelt on the bass.
While the new line-up was being built, Jarno and Markku arranged Jarno’s new compositions for the upcoming album. As the songs took shape, it became clear that a new album will play a major part in Kenziner’s comeback. Neo-classical guitar work and strong melodies have always laid the foundation for Kenziner’s music. The new line-up gave Jarno much better musical freedom because the music could be arranged in Finland, with the group working on the songs together.
During the winter 2012/2013, Kenziner recorded their upcoming album. Having finished the recordings in September 2013, the band took the album to Sonic Pump Studios (Helsinki), and mixed their new masterpiece with Nino Laurenne (Thunderstone).
In early January 2014 Kenziner signed a deal with German based media company/label Power Prog and has found a new home ... the beginning of a new era for the band. They aims to transform from the studio band that it has been up to now into a real live and touring act, creating music that is challenging and interesting for their fans.
In summary: 15 years after their last album "The Prophecies" from 1999, KENZINER is back with a complete new line-up as a real band and with another Neo-Classical Metal masterpiece for the eternity. Of course the roots can not be hidden and the classical approaches are ubiquitous, but the fresh robe and the contemporary production shows us every minute, that KENZINER has become an adult unit without compromises ... they know exactly what they want and what they do! Everyone knows Scandinavia is the current breeding ground for all things sleaze, but Kickin Valentina are bound and determined to change that with a self-titled EP that packs a 'Mike Tyson in his prime' punch. Atlanta, Georgia, may not be the first destination one would expect to find a killer new hard rock band, yet that is exactly where Kickin Valentina came together -- a group who could convincingly have called themselves 'kickin ass'.
The real gem here is vocalist Joe Edwards, who has one of those raspy deliveries tailor-made for sleazy hard rock -- often comparable to Fastway's Fin Muir or Brad Sinsel of the War Babies and TKO. However no band is successful due to a vocalist alone, no matter how great a singer sounds he/she needs songs and capable musicians backing them up -- Kickin Valentina have both in spades!
"Get Ready" gets the festivities off to a sleazy start, but by the time "Dirty Girl" rolls around these tattooed degenerates really hit their stride. This hyper-driven little number is every bit as filthy as its title suggests, burrowing its way through your cranium with screaming guitars, a heavy bottom end and vocals perfectly aged with cheep booze and stale cigarettes. "Alone" could be considered Kickin Valentina's attempt at a ballad, but it has far bigger balls than your standard sappy love song, while containing the EP's most accessible chorus. While not a bad song, the southern drenched rocker "Anita" does get a little silly with its 'boom, boom, boom' chorus, however you'll soon forget all about that slight misstep when "Eat And Run" begins its pulsating descent into the sewers of sleaze that will stick inside your head like a wad of gum on your shoe.
No words could describe how much potential Kickin Valentina display on this EP. The Europeans may have a stranglehold on the cantankerous sleaze genre, but Kickin Valentina give us all hope that the scene is capable of surviving, and even thriving, in America. After hearing these five songs expectations will be extremely high for the band's next collection of tunes.

Monsters Of Rock
Monsters Of Rock, Killer's seventh album, marks the band's 35th anniversary. From the outset the power trio was embraced by a myriad of fans all over the world. Their first three albums: Ready For Hell, Wall Of Sound and Shockwaves, were lauded by aficionados and critics alike as heavy-metal-masterpieces of the 80s. By the mid-80s the band sold albums around the globe and played prestigious festivals; a noteworth climax being a tour of Poland in 1986, where every night they played for captive audiences numbering no less than 10.000 fans In 1990 Mausoleum Records - which had been dormant since the 1986 bankruptcy of it's parent company - made a comeback, and so did Killer. With a second guitar player added to the line-up, Killer's fourth album, Fatal Attraction, eagerly awaited by fans for over five years, was another success. By 1991 however Grunge music ruled the world and Killer took a step back once again. Later that year Shorty, under his last name: Van Camp, released a solo album entitled Too Wild To Tame. The album sounded as if it could have been Killer, volume IV. Four selections from the Van Camp album were included as bonus tracks on the 2002 re-issue of Fatal Attraction. On May 10, 2002, a reformed Killer were joined by Doro (Warlock), Ostrogoth and Crossfire, headlining the sold-out Mausoleum Records 20th Anniversary Concert. The overwhelming success lead to the recording of Broken Silence, an album featuring great anthem-like songs, as well as, for the very first time: keyboards. The 2005 follow-up Immortal was recorded in Germany, produced by Kristian Kohle Kohlmannslehner, whose sole instructions were to make sure that Shorty's trademark guitar sound be once again dominant throughout. Celebrating 35 years of We-take-no-prisoners hard rocking heavy metal, Killer returns with Monsters Of Rock. Packing a mighty wallop, the album carries on in the classic spirit of the 80s recorded with the sound capabilities of 2015.

Formed in 1984 by legendary drummer Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne), Los Angeles heavy metal outfit King Kobra recorded two critically acclaimed albums for Capitol Records - the 1985 release 'Ready to Strike' and 1986's 'Thrill of a Lifetime'.
Along with Carmine, the band featured four relatively unknown musicians at the time - David Michael-Philips and Mick Sweda on guitar, Johnny Rod on bass and Mark Free on lead vocals. King Kobra toured the U.S., Canada, Europe and Mexico playing shows with Kiss, Iron Maiden, Quiet Riot, Ted Nugent, Queensryche and Autograph.
The band was featured regularly on MTV and performed the theme song for the #1 1986 motion picture "Iron Eagle". After disbanding in 1988, each member continued his career in other successful major-label groups - Carmine to Blue Murder (Geffen), Mark Free to Unruly Child (Interscope), Mick Sweda to the BulletBoys (Warner Bros.), Johnny Rod to W.A.S.P. (Capitol/EMI) and David Michael-Philips to Lizzy Borden (Metal Blade).
The year 2010 saw the band reunite the original classic '85 lineup, replacing original singer Mark Free (now Marcie Free) with veteran lead vocalist Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot). "This album captures all the great points we had in the 80's, but better" says Carmine Appice "The music is more traditional King Kobra music. To North
King Of Asgard took form in 2008 by founder Karl Beckman. Teaming up with long time fellow worker, Karsten Larsson, once together in the well known Viking horde Mithotyn. Now re-entering their roots, the foundation of King Asgard was a fact. Both musically as well as in the Norse heritage used as lyrical approach.
In January 2009 the first recording was done. Resulting in the demo 'Prince of Märings', a seven track disc recorded in Lotang studio. In November the same year, Jonas Albrektsson (ex-Thy Primordial) joined King Of Asgard. The three piece now took serious form, meanwhile the demo recording was well-received and caught the interest of Metal Blade Records. In December of 2009 King Of Asgard inked a deal with Metal Blade Records!
Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden were booked and in March 2010 the debut album was recorded together with engineer Andy LaRocque. King Of AsGard nailed down 13 songs of folk based blackened death metal reminding of times of old. During the summer a video was shot for the album opener 'Einhärjar', produced by Rickard Moneus from the production company 1897.
King Of Asgard's debut album 'Fi mbulvintr' was released in August of 2010 and made an astonishing impact on the scene. Still, the band was in need of a second guitarist for future live events and after all Lars Tängmark was hired for the job in August of 2010. King Of Asgard finally started acting as a live performing act and played a bunch of successful festivals and club shows during 2010 and 2011.
In early 2012 King Of Asgard finished songwriting for their second album and returned to Sonic Train Studios in April, again with Andy LaRocque at the helm, to record '...To North'.

Rendered Waters
It is not the success of the early days which Lenny Wolf associates Kingdom Come with, nor earlier hits from his long-standing career. What he really cares about is the present. Is this a contradiction in view of his new album Rendered Waters (out on April 5 in North America, March 25 in Germany and March 28 in Europe), which features eight old and three newly recorded songs? Certainly not, all eleven tracks were cut at Lenny's Two Square Noise Factory studio in Hamburg, Germany. In particular, the new recordings of old material show Kingdom Come'S vision of living in the here and now.
"I purposely chose tracks from the very early days to show how we play, hear and feel the songs nowadays," says Wolf. "Listening habits have changed dramatically, especially among the younger audience, which made it exciting for me to breathe new life into numbers which have not been heard for a while."
For example "Should I", this time is played more slowly lending it a heavier appeal. The drums are more open and the guitars, according to Lenny, feature a more tube-oriented sound and warmer, more driving tone: "Just to give it an overall 2011 vibe. Of course, you can only change songs to a certain extent if you don't want to lose the character and central theme of the original version."
The same goes for "I've Been Trying", "Pushing Hard" and "Living Out Of Touch". None of them have been reinvented, but all three certainly have a noticeable new approach to them. On the other hand, Lenny changed the verse of "I've Been Trying" completely, giving it a different arrangement, just like he transported the song "Seventeen" into the year 2011. "Seventeen" has always been kind of a key song for Kingdom Come, yet it has never received much attention since it has a very non-commercial approach and is either loved or hated, but with the new version it will hopefully get the recognition it deserves."

Back in 2008, KINGDRAGON released their debut 4-track EP and received some really strong reviews for a self-financed work. Nowadays, the band is ready to make some noise with its debut album which is titled "Hide The Sun".
"Last Time" opens this new album and, in my humble opinion,it is the best appetizer for what's coming-up next and an acquaintance with the band's sound. Melodic as it gets with a big and 'fat' guitar sound with Aspiotis powerful performances in front row. Impressive!! "Burn It Down", "Hide The Sun" and the band's first single "Shout Very Loud" are all three solid samples of pure hard rock stuff with loud guitars, catchy choruses, strong arrangements and, most of all, an 80's vibe!! Next, "Only Winter" is a very emotional mid-tempo/ballad kinda of song with a very good chorus line and one of the album's highlights. "Victim Of Love" features a killer guitar work while in "Asian Star" the band experimental with some more 'modern' heavy elements and the result is overall good. "Living For Tomorrow" is another great example of Kingdragon's work which that means very good orchestrations, superb guitar, passionate performances and a memorable hook and chorus! "Judgement Day" is an ok song, nothin' more nothin' less, while in "Dreams Are Broken" we have another amazing power ballad. In "Man Of Yesterday", the guitarist Anastasis F. is delivering some impressive guitar work and in "Live For Rock" the band is putting a strong dose of the 80's glory to offer a high-speed rocker!
Bottom line is that KINGDRAGON achieves to deliver a great debut!! These guys have plenty of talent and that reflects in their music. But most of all, the thing that impressed me from "Hide The Sun" is the guitar work! The heavy riffs along with some killer and extremely melodic solos are givin' the extra flavor. The band, also, is showing an amazing and tight musicianship that takes the final result to a higher level. Well done!

Hell Or Highwater
Although Kings Of Modesty hasn’t released any records earlier it’s members do have a lot of experience in music: Jason Flinck
plays bass and sings backing vocals in the band Brother Firetribe which is a sideproject with NIGHTWISH –guitarist Emppu
Vuorinen and LEVERAGE-singer Pekka Heino. Samuel Hjelt is former guitarist from the band called Ancara in which he did two
albums before concentrating in Kings Of Modesty.
So Kings of Modesty has been continuing a successful gigging circuit until the band wanted to start working to release their
excellent music in 2007 when Emppu Vuorinen, a guitarist of NIGHTWISH and a close friend to Kings of Modesty helped the
band to produce their promo EP. This included four brilliant songs: “Suicidal Mission”, “Staring Eyes”, “Tailspin” and “Miracle”.
Emppu also gave his visions into production and thus the promo EP was recorded at Emppu’s E-Major studios in 2007.
The Promo EP gained a lot of interest and “Miracle” was played by several radiostations in USA. The band continued working
hard and in the autumn of 2008 Samuel Hjelt and Jason Flinck started producing the debut album by Kings Of Modesty.
During the long months of autumn and winter new material was written and by the June of 2009 the debut album “Hell Or Highwater”
with 11 fantastic songs finally saw daylight.
Along with the new material Kings Of Modesty decided to appoint a manager to administer band’s business and hence
Jere Putkisaari joined the crew in spring of 2009. By that time Kings Of Modesty had achieved a lot of interest and started
negotiations with several record labels and after a while the band decided to sign a deal with Escape Music Ltd represented
by Khalil Turk. “Hell Or Highwater” is due to be released in all over Europe in 25th of September 2009.
The songs of coming debut were noticed immediately; although the album hadn’t been released yet, the opening track “Never
Touched The Rainbow” has already been played in radio stations in Europe
All songs has been written and produced by Samuel Hjelt and Jason Flinck except songs “Staring Eyes”, “Suicidal Mission”
and “Miracle” in which Raino Simoinen, Henrik Tuura and Mikael Hjelt also participated in producing. Mikael Hjelt has also
participated producing in songs “Deep Down” and “Two Hearts Collide”.
“Hell or Highwater” was mixed by LEVERAGE-guitar wizard Torsti Spoof and Jari Mikkola at the Studio Audio and mastered
in Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila who has mastered also Nightwish Albums. Cover art was created by LEVERAGE-drummer
Valtteri Revonkorpi and Photos were taken by Kari “Carda” Helenius.

BY THE TIME Kix had recorded this, their fourth album, all eyes in the hard rock biospace were upon them as a band expected to rise up from the ranks to achieve success and exert influence. Certainly their record label Atlantic Records believed in the band enough to steer them towards not one, but three top notch producers; that’s Tom Werman (Mötley Crüe, Cheap Trick,Ted Nugent) together with the dynamic duo of Duane Barron and John Purdell (Ozzy Osbourne, Dream Theater). Recorded in Los Angeles and issued in August 1988, the record was immediately heralded as the best Kix album so far, with critics pointing out the quality of songs and a refinement of their trademark rough and tumble sound. In addition they had made a significant change in their back office by enlisting new management who also handled the affairs of Twisted Sister and Zebra, both signed to Atlantic Records. Founded in 1978 in Maryland, KIX were one of the greates Arena Hard Rock bands of the US scene of the 80's. They started to become big in the with the release of the hard rock power house album “Midnite Dynamite,” in 1985 and "Blow My Fuse" in 1 which finally gave them fame as it went platinum. With the arrival of the Seattle grunge scene in 1995, the band released their final album “Show Business,” on CMC records before splitting in the same year.
Marking the re-emergence of KIX in mid-2000’s, Steve Whiteman, Jimmy Chalfant, Ronnie Younkins, and Brian Forsythe had teamed up a few times a year (with Mark Schenker on bass) to test the waters with KIX reunion shows in the Maryland/Pennsylvania which were very well received. Since then KIX has been performing more and more shows at festivals, casinos and biker rallys across the country, impressing promoters and fellow musicians with their top notch and highly entertaining performances.
In the interim - a first-ever for KIX - a long-awaited live DVD and CD is out on Frontiers called “Live In Baltimore” showcasing the bands legendary live performance. Toby has had a long and storied career in heavy metal music. He signed with Shrapnel Records at the age of twenty, where he released his first instrumental solo cd Guitar Distortion. From there Toby formed the classic heavy metal band Onward, and was signed to the Century Media label. With Onward, Toby released two cds which were critically acclaimed. After Onward disbanded Toby went into the Black Metal genre, releasing a cd under the name of Waxen, and began his solo career once again. Koritni's new studio album 'Welcome To the Crossroads', the band's third studio album, is now available through Verycords/Warner Music France. 'Welcome To The Crossroads' follows the band's 2009 studio album 'Game Of Fools'.
The new album features artwork by Mark Wilkinson, who worked on some of the band's previous releases ('Game Of Fools', 'Red Live Joint', 'No More Bets'). The band also reunited with long-time engineers Mike 'Fraze' Fraser, Dan Leffler and Dean Maher to record and mix the album throughout 2011 at various locations like Megaphon Studios in Sydney, Hipposonic and the Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. KRAGENS were formed in Nice in the year 2000 (France) by guitarists Cedric (ex-STRUTTERS, THORIUM) and Ludwig, who got later joined by Renaud Espeche (ex-DEMON EYES, LYNX) on vocals and Denis on bass. Later again Oliver (ex-ACE, DIRTY SIDE, TRIBAL, SLAM) followed to hit the drums. Very significant for KRAGENS is Renaud‘s „all-round“ voice who reminds us of Bruce Dickinson.
The band created powerful melodies mixed with catchy riffs. The sound can be described as a mixture of NEVERMORE, IRON MAIDEN, with a good portion of SOILWORK or IN FLAMES.

The group called "Kreyson" was founded in 1989. Their album "Andel na uteku" (Angel on the Run) was released in 1990. It was recorded in Hannover, where both Czech and English version emerged. The frontmen of the group were Ladislav Krizek and Jaroslav Barton who participated in music creation to a great extent. For the album �Andel na uteku� the group was awarded a Gold Disc. The next Gold Disc was awarded to them for an album called �Krizaci� (Crusaders). Kreyson was met with great success in Germany and Japan in the 1990s. Lada Krizek (vocalist) was invited by Running Wild to record two CDs. Ladislav Krizek has been awarded 1 Diamond and 6 Gold Discs, as founder of KREYSON, the first white (Christian) metal group from the heart of Europe.
�Hailing from Czechoslovakia, Kreyson is a professional band, which could hold on its own in the Hollywood circuit or anywhere else.
Above the inscription and logo of KREYSON there is the Hebrew letter �TAU�, which is the last word for a letter of the Hebrew alphabet and its shape resembles to the cross before the desk with Pilate�s inscription was nailed to it. He letter �TAU� is mentioned in the Old Testament already � when in a difficult time for the people of Israel the prophet Ezekiel accepts a command from God to cross Jerusalem and with the sign of �TAU� to mark foreheads of men who sigh and moan over all the falsities that are committed in it (Ezekiel 9,3-4). Thus, �TAU� is a sign of repentance, humility and turning to God for both an individual and people. Christians soon recognized a sign of the cross in it.

After more than five years since his last solo release, veteran guitarist Bruce Kulick returns in early 2010 with BK3, an album guaranteed to surprise even longtime fans.
Kulick, who first gained notoriety as a member of Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell touring band, may be best known for his twelve years (1984-1996) as lead guitarist of KISS, during which time he appeared on nine gold, two platinum and one multi-platinum KISS albums. It is, however, the wealth of experience he has gained in his 13 post-KISS years that shines through on BK3.
The album takes listeners for quite a ride over its twelve songs...from the frenetic and anger-fuelled "Fate" (co-written by Kevin Churko, known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne) to the philosophical and uplifting "Life." Never one to mind sharing the spotlight with other talented musicians, Kulick invited several guest artists to appear on BK3, including Gene Simmons of KISS on the anthemic "Ain't Gonna Die," Doug Fieger (lead vocalist of The Knack) on the soon-to-be pop classic "Dirty Girl," Tobias Sammett (EdGuy, Avantasia) and Eric Singer (KISS) on the fierce "I'm The Animal", Nick Simmons (son of Gene) on "Hand of the King", former Union cohort John Corabi on the moody "No Friend Of Mine," and guitar legend Steve Lukather (Toto) on the exciting instrumental "Between The Lines."
In addition to recording BK3, Kulick has been busy over the last 9 years...touring with legendary "American Band" Grand Funk Railroad (who perform over 50 concerts per year throughout the United States and Canada). Bruce has also visited Europe, Australia, South America, and Japan many times as both a solo artist and as a member of ESP (along with Eric Singer and John Corabi), produced in Los Angeles several up and coming artists, and has appeared at the Rock And Roll Fantasy Camps in Los Angeles, New York, and London.
Looking ahead to 2010, Bruce plans to take BK3 to his fans through as many avenues as possible, including live concerts, appearances at KISS Expos, and both print and online media. While there have been many milestones along the way in his 30+ years of performing and recording, BK3 marks a new pinnacle for Bruce Kulick.
