The Poodles are back and this time they are going all out! Clash of the Elements is the band's third effort and it is clearly an album that aims at an international break-through. On "Clash of the Elements", the band has worked together with some of the giants of the industry and there is no question that The Poodles are shooting for the stars with this one! Faced with the important task of planning and recording their third album The Poodles chose to make a fresh start. The band felt they needed to take charge of their career by finding new working partners who could better develop the bands objectives, both domestic and international. They got out of their recording contract with Lionheart Intl. to release their third album on their own label, Rosehip Alley Records The Poodles decided on producer Mats Valentin who had previously worked with the band on the two hit singles “Line of Fire” and “Raise the Banner”. The Poodles also contacted legendary producer-mixer Mike Fraser (Aerosmith, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake) to mix the album. Even though everyone in the band had grown up listening to Mike's productions, they were stunned to hear the results. The production of what was to become “Clash of the Elements” started in November 2008 and saw the release of the first single, “One out of Ten” on the 16th of February 2009. During February and March of 2009, “One out of Ten”, has aired regularly on Swedish radio and is presently top 10 in the single's charts. The release date in Sweden for ”Clash of the Elements” is set to the 20th of May 2009. Big things are in the making for The Poodles during 2009. A world-wide release of “Clash of the Elements” along with domestic and international tours will be some of the highlights along the way.
