Carl Berglund (g) had a clear vision: Putting out a pure melodic rock/AOR record. After a long process of looking for the right people to go with, Swedish band AGE OF REFLECTION was born. Thanks to a powerful mix of Erik Mårtensson (ECLIPSE) there is a lot of roaring guitars among the mighty keyboards. "Age Of Reflection" is a great album with no fillers and mostly meaningful lyrics far away from the typical Rock'n'Roll clichés. Frontman Lars Nygren is able to showcase both quiet moments and - within the limits of the genre - rough vocals, which is impressively proven by the two versions of "Every Time". "The Mirror Never Lies" or "In The Heat Of The Night" are pure rockers at times and do have strong hooks |
